Of all the human emotions, hate is probably the most destructive. It causes the one that hates to suffer more than the one that is hated. And, of course hate can lead a person to do stupid things, like destruction of property and even murder.
Hate is an evil that takes away common sense, reason and control. People in a normal state don’t usually hate and certainly are not consumed by it. Yet everyday we see and hear about hate driving people to do insane things.
People hate other people because of their skin color, culture or religion. And, they kill one another for no other reason than hate. Children are raised to hate even before they know what it is. And, old people hold on to hate as if it is a treasure to be passed on to the next generation.
There are so many things in life that will kill you, but I believe that hate is the worse one.
It is okay to hate broccoli.
