After having spent considerable time in East Texas and looking at every house in that part of the world, I am beginning to look toward the west. First of all, there aren’t as many houses and they are sometimes miles apart. Some would argue that isn’t a good thing, but some will argue it is a great thing.
At this time, I have concluded that in West Texas you can stand on your front porch and see for miles. In East Texas you can stand on your front porch but you can’t see your front lawn - trees, trees, and more trees.
As the name of this blog implies, I am rambling again. While I do sometimes yearn for my youth in West Texas, I know I will end up in East Texas.
That’s where my financial controller wants to go.
