I used to watch a TV program called "Flashpoint." It was one of those police shows, but it was a good one. One of the terms the characters used was, "I’ve got the solution." It meant that if necessary the policeman had the target in sight and could fire.
Well, I believe that with all the political differences in this country, I have the solution. Whether you want this or that or are in favor of some really crazy stuff, it is quite simple to create a government that would truly function the way most of us could live with.
We only have to pass and strictly enforce one amendment to the Constitution. That’s right, just one little law.
It would explicitly state that all members of congress, presidents and members of the supreme court, past and present must abide by all rules, regulations, programs, laws and whatever else they impose upon the citizens.
Turn out the lights. The party is over.
