Stupid is defined as given to unintelligent decisions or acts. Over the past several weeks I have been driving around East Texas and the Dallas - Fort Worth area. I am happy to announce that no single area has a monopoly on stupid when it comes to driving. It amazes me that some people ever get anywhere alive.
I know you have seen people weaving in and out of traffic, cutting off other motorist, tailgating, and speeding. But, in the past few weeks I have witnessed drivers passing in no passing zones going up a hill and around a line of cars all the way to the top of said hill. I have seen drivers speeding and cutting off others, weaving in and out of traffic, only to settle in the slow lane. Oh, I know you have seen it all as well. But, let me warn you, stupid is everywhere.
Then there are those that drink and drive like all of the above. Every year, there are thousands killed because of drunk and stupid drivers. So, as I usually do, I have a plan.
Ban driving. You can’t drink and drive, if driving is forbidden. You can’t drive like a complete idiot if there is no driving allowed.
Banning driving is a lot easier than trying to ban stupid.
There’s too many of them.
