Here’s some more free advice. Never under any circumstances deal with an estate. What you have is more than one person and a lawyer. And, the heirs don’t seem to understand that the only one that wins on their side is the lawyer.
In our hellish quest to buy a house in East Texas, we are negotiating for some of the furnishings. The lawyer requires a detailed description, serial and model numbers, exact location, and other information on each item. Let me assure you there is no model or serial number on a wicker chair. And, somebody keeps moving it.
Several years ago we built the house we are in. Both of us decided then and there that if we didn’t end up divorced before that process was over, it would be a miracle. Compared to dealing with an estate, building a house is a piece of cake.
Right now I am shopping for a shipping crate. You know, the kind they haul on ships and move by train. My plan is to buy a lot, put the crate on the lot and live in it. Then move it where ever I move next.
I wonder if you can be buried in a shipping crate?
They could just leave me in my recliner.
